Comfort Inn Chester - Richmond South

Despite all the issues the staff was helpful. They were supposed to accept my cancellation as discussed but they had another opinion with booking. They had me leave quickly and promissed a full reimbursment but did not give it when Booking.com called to confirm.

The Destiny and carpets were work out and coming off everywhere in common areas and rooms. Blood stains on the floor and old bars of soap we’re found in shower. My bed was not even made upon arrival in the room. Booking.com has still yet to send back my funds after numerous calls.

The linens were clean and the check-in woman’s and breakfast cook were very nice.

Aside from the linens it was dirty. Old soap left on the shower tray. Wires hanging out of the ceiling in the room. There was a plastic bag coming out of the smoke detector. Weird holes in the shower wall. Bathroom lights didn’t work. Stains all over the carpet and ironing board. The whole 3rd floor smelled like weed. Some of the cleaning staff was nice, while some was super loud inappropriate, and immature (running and screaming inappropriate things in the hallways, this was in around 10am) We were barley in the room (we were in town for an event), but since I was staying with my daughter I made it a point to be back to the room before it got dark out. We toughed it out because same day rates at surrounding places were really high to book same day. I have more pictures and videos.

Outlets in the bathroom did not work. The lights in the bathroom would go off and on stains on the carpet stains on the bed, it was just dirty.

Beds were small and hard. Building needed a lot of maintenance.
