Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center

Disappointing experience, especially for a Explorer member I've stayed at Hyatt properties around the world, and the Hyatt Regency DTC has consistently been a weak link. This most recent visit was for hosting a guest speaker, and the experience fell short in almost every way. The room itself feels dated and doesn't live up to the Regency brand standard. But the bigger issue was the front desk. As a member, I requested to combine reservations and apply the complimentary suite upgrade that comes with my status — a standard benefit. Instead of honoring it, the agent pushed a paid upgrade. That's not how Globalist benefits work, and it shouldn't take a debate to receive what's already included. It got worse from there. My guest — who had already checked in and stayed one night — was asked to call me to verify her identity before accessing the room. When I called the front desk to sort it out, I was spoken to in a condescending tone, as if I were suspected of fraud. That's not service. That's a failure of both training and basic hospitality. To top it off, the walls are paper thin. My guest couldn't sleep through the night due to noise from the neighboring room — not ideal when you're responsible for someone else's rest and well-being. This is not an isolated incident. The front desk team at this property has been a consistent letdown across multiple visits. I genuinely hope Hyatt leadership takes notice: please invest in training — or hiring — staff who understand what it means to serve guests with dignity, especially those who have earned top-tier status. The brand deserves better. Your guests deserve better

The Hyatt Regency is conveniently located in the Denver Tech Center near restaurants and shops. There is a shuttle that can take you just about anywhere you need to go! The Breakfast Buffet is fantastic, and the menu and staff at Root 25 (The house restaurant/bar) are truly phenomenal! The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that I have an excellent stay - every time I visit! Get to know them by name! You'll have a friend for life!

My daughter and I went to this property for a Reader's Retreat. I loved the whole property. Our room was clean, had a well appointed bathroom, and a nice view. Our beds were very comfortable. This hotel has plenty of elevators and they are speedy. Upon checking in, our food order was waiting for us (it arrived before we did from the airport). The front desk was incredible about keeping it for us. The meeting space is fantastic. They have a large ballroom, prefuction space that is very roomy, and several breakout rooms. We enjoyed playing Uno with several folks on Friday evening at the mixer. I loved how from our almost top floor room you could walk out to the elevator and look down and see the lobby. (My daughter, who knows heights give me vertigo but I look anyways, would pull me along. Thank you for a lovely stay. I apologize for taking so long to lost this.

The event staff was AMAZING! They anticipated all our our needs for our business event and made sure that our over 200 attendees had the best experience possible. AV was prompt, even when there were issues, and super helpful in planning out event prior to our arrival. We will be back!

We stayed here for a dance convention, and the hotel was clean, well-maintained, and had all the conveniences we needed to get through the event. The staff was a cut above, friendly and welcoming, and the manager even noticed it was my birthday at check-in and sent me a card and chocolates! It was so thoughtful. The room was cozy and had plenty of places to plug in devices, the bathroom amenities were fantastic (and plentiful), and the public spaces were clean and comfortable. I used the fitness center and found it well-stocked and spacious, and the little shop on property was filled with all the little things I could need for the weekend. Definitely a hotel doing things right!!
