I didn’t like that it didn’t have breakfast

I stayed here for an entire month while my father was in Hospice. I was able to remain in the same room and felt very safe as a single, female traveler going through an emotional time. All of the staff, from management to housekeeping, are kind and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, with soft mattresses, clean sheets and towels. I appreciated the nice size bathtub. AC and Heat worked well. Mini-fridge and microwave were clean. There is a clean, coin operated washer and dryer on the 2nd floor and a free continental breakfast in the lobby. I was grateful for the offerings of decaf coffee and tea! The coffee is quite good. I also appreciated the grounds. There is a beautiful tree with bird feeders, and a gazebo with two well maintained stone grills to bbq when the weather is warmer. Publix is within walking distance, as well as Waffle House, Dollar General and fast food.

Very disappointing! I booked a non-smoking room, but was given a smoking room with a strong odor. The smell was overwhelming and made it impossible for us to sleep. After spending the night, the odor lingered on our bodies. The bedding, bedsheets, and pillows all had a strong unpleasant smell, and we were awake most of the night with very poor sleep. The cleanliness was unacceptable. The bathtub was visibly dirty and we could clearly see dirt and hair left behind from previous guests. The bedding also had multiple visible stains. The mattress was in poor condition and sank when used. The room access is from outside. The staff gave us incorrect directions, making us take a long and unnecessary route even though the room was very close, which we didn't understand why.
