"Double Tree McAllen is Top Notch!"

The Double Tree in McAllen is my favorite place to stay. The hotel is always clean and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. The food is better than it should be and I always feel safe when I stay there. From the managers to the kitchen/bar and room staff, everyone is friendly and eager to help!

The place is very well situated shopping is near staff was great. After a long day of sightseeing and running around it was great to unwind at the bar and have a meal at the same place. Everything was awesome..

Well it seems that this property was or used to be an embassy suites? The open atrium and layout seemed to have that feel. The shuttle pick up at the airport was good. Short ride which always is good. Checkin was smooth. Love those cookies! Room was clean & quiet. Everything worked as advertised. The elevators are SLOW, however beats walking;) Breakfast was solid. Dinner? Well, went to the bar to grab a drink and a menu….waited 10 min…while the staff walked pasted several times..it wasn’t just me…several were waiting. So, at 15 min…i left to the room to snack on my stash of bars/food that i always travel with. Their loss. Other than that, it was a good stay.

It was not good experience.room was not properly clean and shower door is broken and receptionist try to find the reservation and then try to over charged breakfast was included but they are trying to pay me for that
