Awan Putih Resort Ubud

Had a relaxing 2 night stay in this resort that has recently been renamed. Its a beautiful place, we were unlucky with the weather but saw the volcano (albeit by getting up at 6am before it got cloudy). The staff were amazingly attentive - some were obviously new, but wanted to please so much. We had a lovely massage while our teenage sons played pool outside.

Some of the resort was a bit tired, eg there is a path that leads to 300 steps that we followed, but it ended with a delapidated river crossing. We were a bit confused! Also the gym was a bit grim, and the sauna was long dead! The meals were a little odd - they did not follow normal restaurant convention! You order 1 hour before and your meal is delivered in entirety (including dessert!) - maybe they need to make this clearer on the menu, and perhaps try and stagger the courses.

Hotel położony jest w sercu dżungli z widokiem na szczyty górskie, ale tylko w słoneczne dni. To przepięknie zaprojektowany kompleks willi z tarasami pozwalającymi podziwiać wschody i zachody słońca. Wszechobecna cisza i śpiew ptaków pozwala na relaks. Pokoje i łazienki przestronne.

Najsłabszy punktem tego hotelu jest kuchnia. Śniadania bardzo ubogie (jeden suchy tost bez masła i np. dwa małe jajka solo), kawa z ekspresu przelewowego na dole filiżanki osad. Ponadto sposób podania, brak dekoracji, to nie przystoi, aby w hotelu tak podawać gościom talerz, biorąc pod uwagę, że balijskie restauracje słyną z pięknie podanych dań, nawet te najtańsze typu warung. To samo dotyczy obiadów i kolacji na zamówienie. Świeży sok okazał się koncentratem z kartonu... Porcje bardzo małe, takie dla osób na diecie redukcyjnej. To z pewnością największa wada tego miejsca. W okolicy brak innych restauracji, więc jesteśmy skazani na wybór tylko tej. Ponadto trzeba uważać na barierki tarasowe, ławki oraz huśtawki drewniane, drewno już spróchniało. Mąż usiadł na ławce i deska pękła. To oczywiście jest wynikiem dużej wilgotności powietrza. Widzieliśmy jednak, że hotel ma tego świadomość i w najbliższym czasie będą wymieniać ( w trakcie naszego pobytu ekipa projektowa dokonywała pomiarów)

L’emplacement au milieu de la nature. Le personnel est adorable et très serviable. La nourriture au restaurant est excellente. Cet hôtel est une véritable merveille !

Resort incredibile in tipico stile Balinese, affacciato sulla giungla a nord di Ubud, dove è visibile anche il Vulcano Batur. Un posto magico dove rilassarsi e lasciarsi rapire dalla pace e dalla natura. Piscina infinity vista foresta, camera in legno con balconcino per meditazione e servizi impeccabili! Lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Spa e massaggi super e c’è anche il minigolf per divertirti un po’!

Surrounded by nature, beautiful gardens and very small secluded resort. Staff were all lovely and the facilities are far more than you’d expect for an intimate resort. Restaurant and spa options were well thought of given the secluded location, but easy to arrange transport to local busier spots. More traditional Bali, well worth & id absolutely stay again.

location was pristine. Off course one must be prepared for hiring a taxi to and fro from this location,

At first we were irked by the insects, but then when you are at such heights on the mountain area, these things are pretty normal. We came prepared and had no issues later on. Ya.....one Tip for readers......when there, do not leave the window open either during the day or at night.

Adembenemend uitzicht, prachtig zwembad, interieur huisje, het was allemaal even mooi

Locatie is wat afgelegen. Niet echt een lekker restaurant in de buurt. Aanbod vegetarisch eten in restaurant van de accommodatie is lekker maar zeer beperkt

Personalet var veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme uten å være påtrengende. Vi var her i tre netter. Vi bodde i deluxe room with a jungel wiew, og utsikten var virkelig fantastisk. Dette er et sted å dra til om du ønsker ro. Bassenget var fantastisk og avkjølende. Vi reiste på to utflukter under oppholdet, med transport via hotellet(anbefales)sjåføren Budi er en veldig god og rutinert sjåfør som kjørte oss hvor vi måtte ønske. Vi reiste til nungnung waterfall, og kitamani for kaffe og utsikt til en vulkan, veldig fin tur.

Kunne godt vært litt bedre utvalg på menyen.

This place is magical. It is intimate and small, and it is a perfect getaway. Prepare for a long ride, but that is the secret of it being genuine and restorative. My friend and I were lucky to come during the weekend when no other guests were around and we had the entire place for ourselves. A truly special experience.
