La Quinta by Wyndham Oakland Airport Coliseum

Never in your life stay in this hotel or take your family to it. I had a reservation (88917EE069718), and arrived around 7 pm. The receptionist stays locked in place for his safety. I didn't feel safe, the neighborhood looked like the Walking D3ad. They don't serve breakfast anymore as advertised. I went to my room on the 2nd floor, there was a couple smoking w33d with their door open right in front of my room. By the way, the hotel smells of m4riju4na. I asked them to cancel my reservation (at no cost) and immediately made another reservation at La Quinta in Dublin. I drove more than 30 minutes to get there. Asked the hotel in Oakland to not charge any cancelation fee (I did not cancel, it was impossible to stay in that hotel), but they refused and charged me the cancelation fee. PLEASE REFUND. I love this place. I felt safe. There's a security guard at the gate. Rooms are clean.

It was comfortable in the room but the other parts of the hotel was sketchy not to mention the poop on the hall way floor I really hope it was a dogs…. But with the activity that was in the lobby I’m a little concerned.

The best way to sum it up is everything is pretty ghetto..

Overall stay is good. Only things change is no breakfast.

The photos of the property don’t match what it looks like in person. The rooms are clean and it’s a good location but the area looks a bit rough outside.

I don't understand why this hotel has received so many one-star ratings HUHUHU. My experience was positive: the hotel is nice, clean, and problem-free, with friendly staff. I'd recommend it to anyone attending a concert and needing a place to stay.
