Historic Streetcar Inn

Gorgeous Buildings, beautiful room, we stayed in 105 which has its own porch and it’s right in front of a streetcar stop, making traveling into the French quarter extremely simple. We didn’t have to take our car anywhere our entire stay we simply hopped on the streetcar or walked everywhere we needed to go. Extremely convenient. Wonderful staff. The streetcar inn is two buildings the main building has the front desk which is all the way at the end of the hall to the right, that was the trickiest part of our stay was finding where I needed to check in, but once we found the front dest we were all set! There is no official parking but we just parked on the side road next to the Inn and had no issues! We will definitely be back the next time we visit, absolutely loved everything about our stay!!

Loved the location- walkable to many restaurants, breakfast, bars, Walgreens . Love the price. Love the “Inn” atmosphere. Loved having the courtyard available for the family to gather. Loved the staff- very friendly.

Our room was small, wasn’t super clean and had a musty smell. There were no extra towels. Oddly, the courtyard was so nice, but did not have working umbrellas at the tables and the plants needed weeding.

Decent location, nice TV, good pizza place next door, nearby street parking, soft high quality towels. Price wasn't terrible. Staff were nice and said the place only recently came back under their management so hopefully they will make some improvements.

Loud. The walls were so thin when someone sneezed upstairs I thought they were in our room. Gate clangs and woke me up all night. Water puddle under the bed, likely due to condensation forming on the cold tile floor. They are aware of this issue as they had damp rid and scent beads under there. I used a towel to keep my socks from getting soaked. No countertop or shelves in the bathroom, only a pedestal sink with barely room for the soap. One single towel bar, no hooks which would be great to keep the towels off the floor. Saw a cockroach scurry into a crack under the shower. The mattress was worn down in the center and uncomfortable. Spent most of the night feeling like I was climbing uphill to stay on my side of the bed.

Location was excellent

Thin walls and conjoining door to next room made it seem like a shared room almost.

Our room was located on the street. Extremely noisy. Room was very bare. Neither bedside lamps worked.

They were extremely clean and the employees were friendly and did everything to make my stay comfortable.
