Historic Streetcar Inn

The location is amazing!!! Right by the street car and on the same block and very close proximity to restaurants . The gumbo at Mr Ed's was delicious. It also felt very safe. It wasn't easy to get into to check in . But once you have your key fob everything was easy. It's the perfect place for solo or female travelers. Towels and wash cloths were brand new . Which i also loved.

My microwave didn't work and the bath tub could've been cleaner. But it wasn't a deal breaker as I am aware of the age of the property. And the safety was worth the trade. . Im definitely staying there next time I come back to New orleans .

The staff was great and this was my second stay. Highly recommend staying there. Great location, value.

Really cute inn located very centrally in the lovely Garden District. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance and right on the 12 train lane. Gets you everywhere you want to go!

I like that the room was clean, walking distance to restaurants to eat, and rode the street car to Saint Charles St for shopping and entertainment. I would recommend going again! Staff was nice!

Being on the 1st floor, I could hear the loud conversations the staff and travelers were having at the front desk everyday on my stay! I love my privacy and peace. The walls were thin so you can hear everything for when people are coming in and going out! There were small flying bugs in the room, but not sure how they kept coming in the room. I requested for another room but they didn’t have anything available.

It’s a great place for a night or 2. Huge room with plenty of space.

The room I had was right by the road so there was endless traffic and sirens, the door needs to be more secure especially travelling solo, other guests coming and going all day and night meant the huge black gate was being slammed continuously and the overpowering smell of room freshener needs to be toned down.

The room was great!! It was a very easy check-in process and the location of the hotel was perfect for walking to the big spots in New Orleans. I would book again.

There were a few stains on the bed, pillowcases, and the shower curtian as well as some food left in the fridge from a previous stay, but otherwise perfect!

I loved that it was close to a lot of restaurant options and it was in a nice area. The bed was so comfortable, the room was a little small but who cares, we barely was in the room anyways. The patio was nice to relax on, and I loved how security was their number 1 priority!! We felt totally safe. We will definitely be back..

Nothing at all, you can tell it’s a little older property but everything was great.
