Loved the room. Lots of space and access to the executive lounge was very handy, especially during the day for coffee and snacks.

No kettle in the room so no ability to make a cup of tea.

We booked a two-bedroom family room at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre for a trip with my husband and I and our 21-year-old daughter during the first week of June 2026. We wanted a hotel in a good, central location, with a pool and hot tub, and room for our daughter to have some privacy. Overall, the stay was very good, but there are some points of improvement and some negatives that are sitting with me. First of all, while it was very important for us to have the two rooms, it was very expensive and didn’t include any extras such as parking, breakfast, or access to the club lounge and these were all very expensive to add on. Ultimately, since we chose to rent a car, we had no choice but to pay for the parking (+$60 per night), but we did not avail of the club lounge (+$150 per night) or breakfast ($$$) at the hotel. Additionally, despite the room clearly being able to accommodate 4 people and branded a “family room”, we were charged an “extra person charge” for our daughter. I feel that this is just gouging. Some might argue that this is to cover the extra housekeeping, but we waived housekeeping – and didn’t even receive a credit or acknowledgment for that, like you see in some hotels. Not sure if this was their normal pricing or if we were victims of “surge” pricing due to the proximity to the World Cup. We enjoyed the Starbucks in our tower (even though the prices were marked up), and the fitness centre with pool and hot tubs in the North tower. We used both every day of our stay and particularly enjoyed the hot tubs after a long day of walking (though one of them seems to need maintenance as not all of the jets are working). There are also private shower rooms that were very much appreciated. Additionally, while I believe the hotel has seen some renovations, it did not appear that they have reached the room we stayed in. While it was well-kept overall, there were a few small maintenance issues - the A/C in the room was very noisy, the toilet ran (had to regularly jiggle the handle) and we had to chip away a block of ice at the back of the minifridge to get it to be cold. If they are not already included in the renovations, I suggest the hotel consider upgrading to smart TVs, upgrade the outlets at bedside and near the desk to fix looseness and add USB-C, add more towel bars or hooks in the bathrooms (says to hang towels but there is just one tiny towel bar and one hook), and add some sort of clothes storage (we stayed for a week and had to live out of our suitcases as there wasn’t a single clothes drawer or closet shelf for clothes storage). These issues may not be noticeable to the average business traveller or someone just using this hotel as a pit-stop before or after a cruise, but for anyone staying more than a night or two, it is noticeable, especially since these two-bedroom rooms are marketed as “family rooms”. Two other very small items would be to have a dispenser for extra ice bags in the ice room and to add a water bottle filling station somewhere in the South tower (there is one in the fitness centre). Would I stay here again? I would consider it but would also look elsewhere first and compare my options, especially from a cost perspective.

Good sized, well appointed rooms. Excellent shower head & good towels. Great location for easy access to all of downtown Vancouver. Plenty of restaurant options nearby.

Have to request for a kettle to be supplied in room…odd as they have teabags etc…
