The building is huge, yet there is only one elevator. Waiting for the elevator took over 15 minutes. The stairs is dirty and very hidden. The entire building is super dark and old. The hotel is also very expensive for what it is. If I have to rate it, it is similar to a 2 star motel

It was very dated and old. Needs to be upgraded. Also it was noisy. Other guest kept trying to open the door, in error during the night

Great service, I was dealing with Dakota Keating and she went above and beyond for us! She is great at her job and deserves some recognition! Keep her around!

Our stay was such a disappointment that we cut our 4-day booking short after the first night, so I might be biased, but I'll try to be fair. I would say that the overall quality standards would be okay for a 3-star, but lacking for a 4-star with a Marriott price tag. This felt like an aging, somewhat worn-down 3-star. For $271, I would say that the only thing that matched the expected quality was that the location is central, the rooms are reasonably quiet (save for an old, noisy HVAC), there's free parking, and a pool with towels available. Were this half the price, I'd call it a great bargain.

Based on the price of one night, $271 for a premium two-queen bedroom in what was reported to be a 4-star hotel, we did not expect: - An absolutely frigid welcome when we checked in. This was an awkward moment with three people behind the counter who wouldn't smile, just me and my young daughter in the hall, with a guy riding his floor cleaner in loud, tight circles around us while we tried to talk to the staff. Weird, but in hindsight funny. - A small lobby with no space to work efficiently, no pods - Dingy carpets all over the place, with an unpleasant smell - A cramped room with a faded design from 20+ years ago - An equally small and aged bathroom, with a cheap and uncomfortably low tub. - A roaring HVAC and heat pump - The slide advertised in the pics is non-functional and grimy. You have to ask the staff to turn it on if you want to use it, assuming the mold hasn't turned you off by then. I worried this apparent neglect might hint at poor structural maintenance, so I didn't want my kid on that. We gave it a pass. - A skimpy, mediocre breakfast with a powder-egg omelet. That's what will stick with me from this hotel: after a disappointing stay, discovering that half-moon of a foamy, industrial substance on the plate. It cemented my impression of a hotel where every penny is pinched mercilessly, to the point where quality suffers. I think this place has a lot of potential, thanks to its great location. The slide is a genius idea--we fell for it--but Marriott needs to loosen their purse strings and invest in making this hotel what it advertises itself to be. Fake it 'til you make it can only take you so far...
