Ambience, good vibes impecible rooms extremley funky

Room clean bed comfortable Free drink at bar 😀 We left our luggage after checking out for couple hours very helpful

Slightly tired appearance View was of a sloping roof so didn’t really have much of a view of anything although didn’t matter too much as we didn’t spend much time in room Breakfast - plenty of choice for this standard of hotel however the cooked breakfast could have been nicer - the fried eggs were overdone, the hash browns overcooked, beans a bit dried up. So I would rate breakfast as adequate. Stayed in Premier Inns/Travelodges with similar breakfasts but better prepared. Oat milk as alternative to soya milk would have been great.

The bed was comfortable and the location was good for the boat trip.

The fridge didn't work. I bought water for the room and it was warm when I took it out of the fridge. I told reception and I got told that maintenance would take a look at it. The problem wasn't solved. I had warm water the following night, for bed. I also told them that there were a number of sockets that didn't work. My phone was out of charge in the morning, after being plugged in all night. This made it so that I couldn't use Apple Pay or maps in my phone to get around the city. There was no air conditioning, on a very hot weekend. Our room looked out onto the busy, noisy road, in front. The windows had to be open, to try to get a bit of air into the room, but then had to suffer the horrendous traffic noise. My daughters were in a different room, where the fridge DID work. It also had water and fruit juice provided in the fridge. So I don't understand the inconsistency of the rooms. If someone could enlighten me on this I would appreciate it.

The hotel was just 5minutes from the venue we were visiting that night. I found the room clean and bed very comfortable . Totally enjoyed the breakfast the following morning with plenty of choice. Staff were very approachable.
