Hyatt Place Minneapolis Eden Prairie

We are Hyatt Globalists and frequently stay at this hotel since our daughter lives nearby. It is clean, convenient and safe. Kyle at the front desk goes above and beyond to ensure impeccable customer service and Wade the Manager is tremendous as well. Love this property!

Stayed for a few days while visiting family. Front desk staff person was amazing and welcoming. He exceeded my expectations Great location, clean and comfortable room.

Rooms were great ,Staff was awesome and very friendly.Pool was wonderfully warm!

In the 6 years we have been staying with Hyatt we have always had the best experience. I love how big the rooms are and the fact they have couches gives the room more of a home vibe. The breakfast is always hot and fresh and the price can't be beat for the amenities this hotel has to offer!

Sundays the breakfast area gets super packed. Wish theyre was a bit more seating

Pros: conveniently located, love the pizza restaurant across the parking lot, easy access to shopping, a few restaurants, Valleyfair is easy to get to, breakfast is ok Cons: We stayed 3 nights and didn’t have maid service at all. When I said something to the front desk the lady at the desk was not helpful or friendly. It would have been nice to have trash taken out and old towels removed. The bathroom is awkwardly small with it being hard to close the door. You have to almost step behind it to close it. Double rooms are double beds, not queens. In general the hotel needs to be updated. Overall: I won’t stay again. There are other much nicer Hyatts in the area. We have stayed at the hotel next to this one and we prefer it.

I had 5 rooms for this hotel for our annual family Vikings trip in October. 4 of the 5 rooms worked out ok, but they need some updates. The electrical outlets are buried underneath the wall shelves, etc. The issue is that around 2:30 AM one of the guests was alerted to a loud "boom" and smoke filling their room, it appears that the air conditioner had started to spark and had scorched the carpet in their room. They went to the front desk and the worker said they had no other rooms and sent them back to their room. She asked if they needed to call the fire department and the guest was like I do not know what your policy is. The guest asked if they had a maintenence person and the clerk was not until morning so you will just have to wait and see.
