Der Weg zum Zimmer war relativ verwinkelt und mit Stufen, ist mit großem Koffer mühsam

We arrived on Fri night at midnight and waited about 20 min to check in although there were only 2 people in front of us - probably most inefficient young male receptionist on a night shift. We stayed 3 nights in 3 different rooms… I have contributed hundreds of hotel reviews to TripAdvisor since 2010 but what I am about to describe is… unique experience (and not in a good way). I was excited about a room with a balcony in a hot weather but upon opening the door to it we realised that there is no seperation between the balconies so pretty much anyone from other rooms can easily just walk in while we are asleep. So had to sleep with the balcony doors shut and no fresh air. Next day we asked to change the room and to our delight we were allocated a room in the old part of the building with the high ceiling, spacious bathroom and generous floor square footage. We felt really comfortable. We went out for the afternoon and when we came back we found security taping around our room and collapsed corridor ceiling! We went to the reception to ask what has happened and totally unbothered receptionist said they tried to contact us and that we need to relocate. Well I had no record of missed calls or emails about that! See the photos for yourself… she said she didn’t know what exactly has happened. Next day still nobody attended to it intol early afternoon. We have not been offered an apology for distress that we could potentially faced dangarous situation, there was no empathy, admission of accountability, goodwill in providing anything as a simple gesture - nothing! Not even a symbolic free drink. Nada, zero. Location of the hotel is very good to the old center but you need to either walk to the train station for 20 min or take a taxi. As you can imagine, I’d rather stay safe and not change a room each night to escape a danger so won’t take a risk returning and wish other guests safe stay.

Der schwarze Bock ist ein wunderschönes Hotel welches Tradition und Eleganz mit modernen Komfort verbindet. Das Ambiente ist traumhaft. Der Frühstücksraum hat Licht und viel Charme. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut, die Lage ausgezeichnet.
