The Emily Morgan Hotel - A DoubleTree by Hilton

The location is great and the valet service is first class.

The hotel is outdated, the bar is not opened for a convenient drink. The front desk staff not friendly.

Location is great if wanting to just walk out and be in front of the Alamo/river walk. Nice and helpful front desk staff.

There was dust all over the sliding doors to the restroom and the toilet was clogged (staff unclogged the toilet right away). Housekeeping continued knocking on the door after being told that we were sleeping in.

Cozy inside and the place was decorated nicely

Our a/c wasn’t working and it kept getting super hot in the room. We also didn’t like our view of the broken down pool area

Cozy lobby and a friendly front desk. The room was very spacious with a giant, comfortable bed and a beautiful view of the Alamo. The location could not have been better.

Parking is very tricky in this neighborhood.

The breakfast is a joke , a cold continental breakfast for 25.00. . Valet parking they say 39.00 dollars but actually they charge you 85.00 a night to park . I didn’t realize this but you cannot get your money back . I have called the general manager for a week he does not answer and no one will deal with this problem. I seen on my card they charged this much but the lady at the desk said oh no they take that off , no they don’t . Do not stay at this Hotel, been to San Antonio many times stayed in many different places this is the worst one

Beautiful property close to all the sites. Across the street from the Alamo with room with views. Front desk was very accommodating

The room was freezing. Thermostat was set for 70 when we arrived but was more like 65 at the most. Turned the thermostat up to 77 and left for 2 hours. Upon return, there was no change. Could have been a cold spot due to the haunted history of the hotel as that room was said to be active. The room was 77 in the morning.
