The cleanliness .. the hospitality... phenomenal.. And - Texas shaped waffles - what?!

I'd really have to nitpick to find anything wrong with my stay.

Staff, staff, staff. What an amazing and welcoming group of people.

I want to start by saying this is genuinely one of the nicer facilities in Paris TX. The staff here is outstanding and truly some of the best I have encountered, and I travel a lot. They are extremely attentive, accommodating, and clearly take pride in their work. I really wish my experience could end on that positive note. Unfortunately, there were major issues that affected our stay. The hotel’s AC units are located low on the exterior wall, close to the parking spaces. This property hosts a large number of workers, many of whom drive diesel trucks and routinely back into their spots. Early in the morning, when they start and warm up their trucks, the exhaust points directly at the AC intakes. Because of this design, our first floor room filled with diesel fumes to the point of nausea and dizziness. It took us nearly an hour to ventilate the room, and the freezing temperatures outside made that even harder. To be clear, this is not the fault of the staff, nor the workers. The issue comes from an unfortunate combination of the building layout and the absence of a no back in parking policy, something I have seen at other hotels in Arizona and New Mexico that frequently host workers. But the impact was severe. My wife and I became sick from the fumes, and that is ultimately why I have to give a negative review. If you choose to stay here, I strongly recommend avoiding the first floor, especially if you have young children or are sensitive to fumes. The staff and cleanliness are excellent, but the ventilation and exhaust issue is serious and needs to be addressed for guest safety.

Wonderful customer service at the desk. Very clean. Wonderful food for breakfast. Impressed and will definitely be back. Thank you.
