Hyatt Regency Downtown SOMA was a beautifully maintained and managed hotel that made our stay extremely successful. It's central location made walking to dinner and excursions a breeze and made it effortless to get to the Bay To Breakers start line. We drove in and were immediately greeted with a most congenial valet who promptly communicated, parked and charged our electric car. The front desk associates welcomed us and provided all the information we needed for our stay. They accommodated for our necessary late check-out and were extremely helpful with all of our race-weekend needs. Our room was cozy and comfortable and we had a beautiful bay-view. Overall, we had a top-notch and valuable experience and plan to stay again in the future!

The hotel was relatively clean and the location was good.

I stayed on the 5th floor and the view was very bad and I suggest you do not park your car at this hotel at all. They are very rude and charge a lot of extra money. Even during the day I left my car there for 2 hours and they were supposed to charge me $25 and I was there before 2 hours but they kept me waiting and when it was 5 minutes past 2 hours they brought the car for me and for the 5 minutes they were late they charged me $20 and they were very rude and when I checked in and out of the hotel they told me that they had no one to help me with my luggage and that I had to carry it myself. In any case it was not a good memory and I will not go there again.

Noisy air-conditioning, thin doors so one could hear people in the hall way very well.

great location, lots of foods around within walking distance

horrible service when I arrived to check in. My friend/ business partner shared a access gift to be able to hang in the lounge with her and her roommate, and the front desk staff said I had to call customer service myself because they couldn't give me access with my room reservation and customer service also said no. my friend asked ho my chrck in experience was and if I eas in the lounge waiting for her arrival, but I was not allowed access and had to take time to call customer service who still didn't allow me access. so we went out to a restaurant instead and I will not be booking a Hamton again. Not ok how guests are treated compared to other companies. I stayed at over 60 hotels last year and never tried a Hamton until now, and I'll never try again.
