Renaissance Chicago Glenview Suites Hotel

I have been using Booking.com for over 10 years. This is my first time writing a review because I always try to make sure properties are given a chance to make things right, but this is the worst experience I have ever had. First, we emailed this facility that we would be arriving a day later, and we didn’t mind if they deducted one night from our 3-night stay. Unfortunately, this property canceled the entire reservation because they claimed we didn’t show up the first night. This was after we had written to them explaining that we had a flight change. The worst part was that they said our remaining days were canceled and there would be no refund. I was shocked to hear that they would keep our money, not provide accommodation, and still refuse a refund. Apparently, they canceled the reservation internally but did not cancel it on Booking.com or mark it as a no-show. It was so bad that I wished I could speak directly with the owners of the hotel because the front office manager, Eli, was so unprofessional and highly uncultured. I am very worried about how someone like that manages the staff. At one point, I had to tell him that we would record the conversation so we could show it to Booking.com, and the guy became upset. We had to call Booking.com, who threatened to bill them for any amount we spent at another hotel before the manager finally allowed us to stay. We went out to grab something from a store, and when we returned, we found a note on our bed saying, “Please clean your room.” What an insult. The room had not even been cleaned. We had to call them to come and clean it, and they all denied writing the note. Honestly, I do not want to talk about the rest of the experience because those issues can be worked on, but unfortunately, this was the worst experience of our lives. We thought we had left a small bag behind after checkout and called them to check for us. They promised to check and call back, but till today they haven’t called. What a people. I am very s

We currently staying here as of now at renaissance hotel in glenview. They do not replace the bedding that has been used by previous guest (Room 403) to be specific. They are some carcass of a bed bug. Make up stains on the pillow cases. Most of all there is a BED BUG moving around my pillow, so we need to move late night to a different room. The receptionist last night didn't even relay this issue with the manager, cause i talked to her this morning and it seems like she does not know anything or just acting like nothing happened. Still waiting for their investigation regarding this matter.

Spacious. Loved the fresh towels every day

Not very clean. And the sofa mattress was awful.

Very clean!! Beautiful aesthetics!! Pool table! Bar! Multiple lounges! Breakfast buffet! Pool clean! Fitness room! Quiet rooms! Very spacious rooms! Very clean rooms! Very comfortable bed!

There is nothing to complain about! 10 out of 10 for cost in comparison to other hotels!!

Дизайн , ціна вогонь 🔥 . Спокійно красиво , сніданки для дітей безкоштовно, це дуже радує , дитина отримала подарунок 🎁 при заселенні 🥰. Не подобалось що трохи брудно ( Карпет , двері, постіль мала чорні сліди -це не приємно )

Decor; staff at the desk were very prompt and accomodating. Pool was clean. And warm Brunch was great, staff at the breakfast were excellent Suite of 2 rooms was just what we needed.

The door to the bedroom and only door between the rooms had a busted hinge and would not shut properly. It also made noise and was bothersome. There were stains and gunck on the wall behind that door.
