The front desk staff here are poorly trained and have no issue lying to their Gold-level Hilton members. If you travel more than a few nights a year, you'll see the pattern this hotel uses to squeeze out every penny they can from their customers. They will allow you to book and will confirm a particular room and in my case, that was a standard with 2 queen beds. When you arrive, they check you in as if everything is fine and accord to your reservation without so much as a word that they do not have the room you book available because they simple gave it to someone who arrived a bit earlier. After stopping by your assigned room and finding out you were given an accessible room with a single bed, you return to the front desk and let them know they made a mistake and asked to be switched to the correct room that they verified was available during your booking weeks ago. This is where the lying starts. I was told that there had been "some sort of change to my reservation". When I offered to show them the reservation in my Hilton app, they responded with "oh, we can see the original booking but it looks like it was changed at some point." When I pressed on details about the change, there were of course none because it's all a scam with this property. They would do NOTHING to accommodate me. No discount, no apology, not even a thank you for being a valued Gold status member with the chain. Just a too bad... take the room or don't because we don't care attitude from the front desk staff. I'm not even going to get into the dirty room with poor-fitting fixtures, the flood of water that ends up on the bathroom floor from the shower. Honestly, I'd even question that the majority of reviews of this hotel are legitimate. Lastly, keep your eye out for a response from hotel management saying how sorry they are for the poor experience I had at their hotel. Again, it's all a scam. You've been warned.
