Beautiful building. Historical vibe. Very nice and big room. Easy and fast communication on Hotels.com-chat. Sympathetic personnel. Quiet. Problems with understanding local bus offers, but easy access with walking and taxi.

Our room was very big. There was a fridge that was sadly broken, but the communal kitchen had one anyway so was no issue. The owners were so friendly and extremely helpful. I actually made a mistake with my booking that made it €50 more expensive, but they allowed me to pay the cheaper price which was so nice! Will definately be going back here the next time I come to the Spiel. Pretty easy to get to essen messe from here, just ask the owners! Be careful with you food in the fridge though as some of ours got thrown away in a clean out!
