Subject: Formal Complaint and Request for Compensation – Mangrove Beach Corendon Resort, Curaçao Dear Management, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at Mangrove Beach Corendon Resort, Curaçao. Prior to booking, I relied heavily on the resort's advertised five-star status and Booking.com's rating of 8.2. Unfortunately, the reality of our experience fell significantly below the standards that one would reasonably expect from a five-star property. The issues encountered during our stay included: Poor Room Quality The rooms are extremely small, dated, and in need of refurbishment. The bathroom lacks basic ventilation, with no exhaust fan installed. It was very HOT. Towels provided were thin, worn, and ragged, which is unacceptable for a resort marketed as five-star. Water Supply Failure At approximately 9:00 p.m. this evening, there was no water available for flushing toilets or taking showers. This created an unacceptable sanitary and hygiene situation for guests. Serious Hygiene Concerns at the Breeze Buffet Pigeons were freely entering the dining area, feeding from tables, and perching around food service areas. We observed pigeons contaminating tables and areas where guests were dining. This raises serious concerns regarding food safety, sanitation, and guest health. Electrical Outlet Issues The room outlets were incompatible with our charging devices. No prior notification was provided advising guests that electrical adaptors would be required. This left us unable to properly charge essential devices. Lack of Guest Services Front desk assistance for booking excursions, including swimming with turtles, was unavailable when required. We were unable to obtain the assistance expected from a resort of this category. Restaurant Reservation Issues The seafood specialty restaurant was unavailable and we were unable to secure a reservation during our stay despite our efforts.

The staff at the entrance are terrible. They let all types of taxis in, but if you have your own car, they make you park on the street. You have to walk to the street with your luggage, and you have to walk to the street if someone comes to pick you up. It's the only hotel in Curaçao that doesn't allow you to be picked up in the lobby and makes a customer who is paying a lot of money for each night walk out into the street with all their belongings. It's one of the most expensive hotels on the island, and they have terrible customer service, making you walk out onto the street, and the staff at the entrance are rude to you too. The food is good, and the rooms are clean. However, the service staff is horribly rude and unpleasant

Bianys was my girl and super amazing she understood the assignment for my birthday trip. Drinks amazing, service amazinggggg, vibes 10/10 do recommend! I had a blast and Mangrove Corendon. Look for her when you visit lemon drop on point!

This is an inexpensive all inclusive and you get what you pay for. Adults only is a stretch as there are kids everywhere, even on the adults side. Resort seems understaffed and unhappy. Smoking is also allowed. There is no beach, just a cove you can swim in. Food: 2/10. Drinks: 9/10. Room 10/10.
