Queen Kapiolani Hotel

Had the best time ever at this hotel. The staff were amazing. The room was perfect. The location was 1 block from the beach. Great restaurant next to the pool on 3rd floor, had excellent foot there, and super easy to get to. It was clean, easily accessible. The price was a great value for what was offered. It was really quiet at night. 10/10 would 100% recommend. Thank you for making our trip so great.

The hotel does bring one back to a movie nostalgia of history where the check in and valet desk is located about a yard apart, then you enter the lobby and there is a coffee area and lounging, with several shops around the interior. It reminds me of a check in to a hotel in safari country. As you venture out, the infamous waikiki was just around the 1 block corner, and the beautiful crystal blue Hawaii ocean, and gorgeous people walking around. It's a place of liquid dream.

As a travel professional I believe excellent customer service sets an experience apart from others. This property and their staff took very good care of us. We had a couple hiccups with our reservation but not only did they resolve it but they exceeded our expectations. This property is old but it has had TLC. The common areas and rooms are clean. The valet boys work really hard and with a smile. Every interaction with them was exceptional. Front desk was friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping was friendly and professional. They have great amenities like beach chairs and towels, free welcome canned beverages and Dole whip. It is not an ocean front property but you can get a room with a beautiful view of Diamond Head and partial ocean views. They have a pool and restaurant on site. It’s also a wonderful location to walk to restaurants and the zoo. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again when I come back Mahalo to the staff at Queen Kapiolani 💕🙏🏼

This place needs help in the valet . Everything else was amazing couldn’t complain. Last day when we were rushing to check out an employee (tall old blonde) decided to block our car in make us late for a check out process we had to rush to airport barely made it. Please do not allow employees to block in guests esp on check out days

I liked the Deck restaurant and the location.

I was asked about early check in and room upgrade through email and I answered yes. Got to hotel and early check in was not available. Room upgrade was not what was promised so they removed it from the bill. Staff was polite but not friendly. Restaurant staff was great.
