"No hot water, not the room I paid for, first night staff was rude. The rooms however were nice but not fully clean."

Rooms were nice

No hot water during my stay, also I booked a king suite prior and I also paid in FULL and the room was supposed to come with a view and I received a double queen with a partial view. When I addressed the issue the two lady’s during my check in were very rude and nonchalant about it and stated they had no more rooms. So my room was given away and they just threw me in a room.

"Nice hotel but watch for hidden costs"

Good location and wonderful balcony. Our room was nice and clean and good water pressure. There’s a Starbucks inside which was nice and lots of lovely hanging out areas. The rooms had a ton of plug ins which was so awesome!!!! All our gadgets could run and charge at the same time!

They don’t come replace anything when they cleaned. Like none of the coffee or tea or napkins or cups. It was strange cuz we were staying multiple nights and needed extras of that stuff. We were surprised that parking was valet and 30$ a night!!!! Also they put a 150$ hold on your card which is much more then I’ve ever experienced!

Bathtubs need to be updated as well as flooring instead of carpet.notice quite a few people walking around bare foot.curtains were dirty and furniture was dusty.

"Clean room and nice staff other than restaurant temporary manager. Starbucks closes way too early as does gift shop."

The hotel billed properly and was very clean.

The Tides restaurant had a great waiter but food itself was cold, pricey, and ridiculously slow to prepare. The temporary management made excuses and did nothing to rectify the issue.

Great place to stay

Can't afford a room for my son's graduation March 15-17 2026. I am bummed as I wanted a two room suite but with three in college do not have the extra to stay at my favorite place in Va Beach...
