Hampton Inn Selinsgrove/Shamokin Dam

Breakfast and location were fine. Staff was courteous.

By far the biggest disappointment was the bed. The bed in Room 102 sagged in the middle, and even worse, it squeaked every time we moved in it. Please address this! Also, both of us had water on the floor following our showers. Since it happened to both of us, it made us wonder if there an issue with the shower curtain design??

Property and rooms are clean, however the room entertainment options are VERY SUB PAR. DirectTv is available, but offers no local network options, only cable channels. Also, NO YOUTUBE options, like other Hilton properties I stay at. C’mon, I thought everyone offered that by now! This hotel needs some major updates.

We were moved to different Hampton Inn due to being overbooked. The agent and manager handled it very well and thanks so much for comping it. But still to call in mid afternoon to learn Ive been moved to a hotel farther away from our event and now have our group seperated was inconvenient.

College visit weekend - very close to the college

Good breakfast, great customer service.

Very clean, wonderful staff. The pool wasn't heated enough. One of the reason I wanted to stay here. This was my only complaint. Great location for restaurants and shopping.

It was clean. Staff was friendly.

It was hard to find. Once you turn on the side road there isn’t a sign to direct to the drive way to the hotel. Plus it was quite expensive for family weekend at Susquehanna University.

We enjoy Hampton inns because they have food breakfast and are clean and modern.

The first floor is very noisy

Shortly after checking in we realized the toilet in our room was not flushing properly. I called the front desk and a male answered the phone. I explained the situation and his response was that housekeeping left at 4 pm and I could come to the front desk and get a plunger and try to fix the problem myself. His response was unacceptable. I don’t work at the hotel and had no intention of plunging a toilet in a room I paid good money for. There were two people at the front desk and in my opinion one of them should of grabbed the plunger and came to my room and plunged the toilet! I have visited your hotel at least 2-3 times before and I can say I will not be back.
