Hotel G San Francisco

Good location just off Union Square, a short walk to the main cable car stop.

A bit old and tired, only one elevator working, which was insufficient for the size of the hotel

I cannot recommend this hotel for cooler weather. The room was freezing because of a drafty, slat-style window in the bathroom and an ineffective heater that only blew lukewarm air. I barely slept due to the cold, and the front desk had no space heaters to offer. A very uncomfortable experience.

I really loved my room. It was spacious and well designed.

The breakfast was a disgrace! Honestly, I was shocked at how bad it was. It should be free for what is on offer and I'd then say it was a great little extra but it's no way worth paying for.

The rooms were quiet and very clean. The shower was nice, and the room was overall very comfortably cozy. Charming and accommodating.

That the restroom fan, was either very quiet or non functional. Either way the water temperature was not for steam or lobster levels.

This is a great hotel located close to major San Francisco attractions. The staff is very friendly and helpful with information about the city and hotel services. Irene, Tyler and Nhoro went above and beyond to provide supplies, breakfast vouchers, luggage storage and a smooth check in and check out. The hotel is well maintained, safe for travelers, has a 24 hour gym and a hotel lounge. There is an Italian restaurant on the ground floor. The rooms have refrigerators and an in room espresso machine. Our family with grown sons went for leisure and it was a great vacation. I highly recommend this hotel and have stayed here twice. It is a reasonable price and still extremely nice.
