Hotel G San Francisco

Very good hotel—clean, quiet, and with a strong, refreshing shower. The best part is its excellent location, which makes visiting nearby attractions very convenient. I would also like to thank Irene for providing very useful information and helpful tips on how to enjoy this beautiful city.

The blankets could be heavier it was not warm enough without the heater on which isn’t the quietest

It's always easier to plan a trip in reverse- like we should have stayed there or eaten there or whatever- but I would stay in this hotel over and over again. The location is ideal for getting around the city. We were able to get everywhere we wanted to go using our feet and cable car. So much fun! Room is clean and dark for sleeping and comfortable. We will stay here again on our next visit to SF.

Irene was the best front desk attendant. I appreciated her immensely. Very kind. The location was pretty good. Cozy bed. Would stay again.

The staff was exceptional. They were always professional and friendly when I encountered them. The location is great - a good walkable neighborhood with many places to eat and explore. It's close enough to Union Square without feeling the crowd from it. The hotel and rooms are older and smaller, but really well designed and the amenities and comfort level were great. I don't know that I've had a more comfortable bed when away from home. I loved the complimentary coffee and tea available - even more available on request.

Only two complaints, and there wasn't much that could be done about it. One was the lack of bathroom counter space. The second was the lack of any view from our room. It was right into the side of another building. But it's nothing to deter me from staying here again.

I did not stay at the hotel but the EXTREMELY helpful staff Claudia and Irene let me know my luggage was mistakenly delivered from AirFrance and waiting for me. My luggage had priceless and irreplaceable pictures from 1958 when my dad visited Paris. I cannot thank them enough for helping me get my treasures back. One day I will stay at the hotel.
