The Junction Boutique Hotel

Breakfast was good.

Owned by a bunch of amateurs. A good hotelier knows that a hotel room is all about comfort and sleep quality. No backup whatsoever over loadshedding - no lights, TV or anything that might make you comfortable. No inverters, Jenny or batteries. Fitted sheet didn’t fit. Bathroom geyser was noisy. Fridge woke us up every night. Absolutely pathetic.

Terrifically friendly staff throughout our stay, even emailed us to say we’d forgotten our telephone charger! Fantastic beds and great breakfast served with a smile!

Great location in the centre of Plett town, with a small amount of parking for guests. Our room was quiet and clean, and breakfast was good.

Very modern, nice big rooms. Friendly staff, super central location. Nice breakfast menu with very good selection.

All the walls are wet, especially in the bathroom. You can already see the mould behind the painting which gives you a very weird feeling. No other amenities like a bar, gym, pool or anything. It’s basically just a bed and breakfast. Rooms are also quite dark with only a few windows. Breakfast café feels unfinished with only a few tables in a very big room. Actually too expensive for what you get.

The size of the room was excellent, and having two bathrooms was very convenient.

There was absolutely no view-we were facing a wall! The building appears unfinished (some walls/ structure on the roof and on the side seem not finished) with low-quality materials inside such as wallpaper that tries to mimic concrete but looks cheap. The breakfast room felt like a cafeteria, lacking any charm or ambiance. Furthermore, the staff were neither friendly nor professional, which made the overall experience disappointing.
