"They went out of their way"

8.0

We stayed in Bonn for a birthday party of our friends. We stubled onto Krinprinzen Hotel by accident but it was a true delight. The hotel is not big, the rooms are not air conditioned but the staff is super friendly, really wanting to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. The hotel has an old villa charm emphasised by their staff Breakfast at €9,50 pp is super and no efford is spared to accomodate your desires. If you are looking for a friendly economy hotel we can highly recommend Kronprinzen

"Nice homely place"

Had several nights at Kronprinzen Hotel. Its a clean and welcoming place with spacious and light rooms very close to the Rhine river. Great place and not too far from the city center and bad godesberg.

"Nice hotel in Bonn-Bad Godesberg"

8.0

The hotel is small but full function, pretty, clean and resonable price in quiet area. If you come alone or small group, this hotel is your choice. It takes 5 mins walk to train station and 30 mins to Koin hbf.

"Room 9 in the Attic"

8.0

A lovely old hotel in the middle of the residential area of Bad Godesberg, very central. The owners were very friendly and made us feel like family. Just heaving all our suitcases for our 6 week holiday up 3 flights of stairs was a bit of a mission! The attic room is spacious, modern, light and comfortable, tastefully renovated and furnished. However, I was traveling with my grown-up son and daughter, so we took turns in leaving the room so that one of us could take a shower in the glass enclosed modern shower. Highly recommended for 3 adults.

"Tiny hotel but great service"

6.0

I was alone on business trip. So therefore I automatically had a small one person room. I didn't like the pillows, but everything else was just fine. Breakfast was sufficient and the lady was really nice: asking if I wanted coffee/tea and fresh made scrambled eggs! :) I could park on the street for free. Within a 5min walk you are at the Rein river and a nice Biergarten where the food is really good. For people on holiday it might be a bit far from the Bonn city center although I didn't have time to check that.

"Wonderful Place for Relaxing"

6.0

I booked two rooms in this hotel for three days to enjoy vacations with my family. It is a decent hotel well equipped with all the modern amenities. All the team members are very dedicated to their services and I really feel at home there. They are very friendly and polite. Our room had a lovely bathroom and a great balcony. Not only the exterior, but the interior of the building is also very impressive. Breakfast was the only meal I tried and it had all the healthy options like eggs, fruits, juices, etc. Highly recommended.

"Nice and Cosy..."

8.0

We were there during New Year's Eve as we got invited from our freinds to join a dinner. We have chosen this hotel because it was a walking distance from our friends.. It was O.K. for a night. We got a beautiful room with a balcony. Too bad, we have no time to enjoy it and the weather was also awful. The Hotel is small, nice & clean and cosy. We got everthing you need in the room, even a Mini-Bar, that not normal for a small hotel in Germany. The Breakfast was also very good. You get your scramble Egg made FRESH! Not hard-dried on the Buffet. The Staff are very friendly and the overall services are good.

"Remarkable all round"

8.0

Hotel Kronprinzen is located in a quiet residential road around 5 miles (8 km) from the centre of Bonn. The building is an attractive villa on a junction of Rheinallee and another road. Traffic is light. I'd booked after an e-mail exchange and on arrival the hotel receptionist was expecting me. Rather unexpectedly - at least for me - was being asked to pay for my stay upfront. I was given Room 9 which is right at the top of the house - up two floors and then, when opening the door, there's yet another staircase. If you've got a large amount of heavy luggage, be warned it's all stairs. There's no lift (elevator). But as I got to the top of my "own" staircase, what a revelation. The room is the entire attic area of the house and has only recently been refurbished. The room was very large, with a good sized double bed, an open-plan shower and bath area, separate toilet plus a desk. Three Velux-style windows provided excellent natural light and ventilation. There's also a portable air conditioning unit. The quality of the fixtures and fittings is first rate - great bath and shower (probably 2m x 1m) with an immense glass screen. And something I've never seen before - a shower head that lights up and changes colour as water flows! Breakfast is an additional charge, and is served in the breakfast room on the ground floor. There's a wide variety of food, including eggs cooked to order, fresh fruit, cereals, rolls and more. I suggest the breakfast is good value. Parking, should you be travelling by car, is available on the roads around the hotel (well, on the pavements actually) and is free. There are also car parking spaces in the hotel, charged extra. I parked on the road and had no problems. The Kronprinzen is on a bus route that goes into the centre of Bonn, passing the UN campus, World Conference Centre and Deutsche Welle, as well as the museums. The 610 runs until 2330 every evening and I made good use of this during my daily commute to and from the Conference Centre. Overall, the Kronprinzen is to be recommended.
