I loved the quiet. Just a little traffic noise. The main sounds we heard were the birds. 😃 I loved the open space, which was tidy and pleasant to look at. The buildings and stock yards have been well planned, making good use of the site. We enjoyed watching the horses and cattle. There was a 360 degree view to the hills with lots of trees, grass and the creeks. We enjoyed the sunsets. The unit was the right size for the two of us and our dog. I was grateful for the good toilet paper, 👌 and the hand towel. 👏

I would have liked a scourer and a second sharp knife.

"Converted shed on property rather than a real farm stay."

Well-equipped accommodation space and comfortable and spacious layout. The kids enjoyed the patting of the horses.

A farm stay needs to be more than a converted shed on a property. It needs extra appeal. We tried the walk in the hills but had to remove shoes to cross creek. Suggest a couple of stepping stones that won’t wash away and a clearly defined track.

Greg and Simon were really nice, welcoming and thoughtful. Easy to communicate with and available when needed.

We had a wonderful stay at Donegal Horse & Farmstay, even though we already live on a farm, staying somewhere peaceful, clean and with lots of space was just lovely. The amenities were great and exactly as hoped. Our hosts were friendly and hospitable. The kids especially loved visiting the animals and vegie garden. We highly recommend this accommodation, especially for those travelling with pets and/or children.

This is a fantastic property to stay at. The host, Greg, is very pleasant and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble for him. We felt welcome the moment we arrived. I cannot fault Donegal farmstay at all. We have stayed here before and we will be back.

"Little slice of heaven"

The most beautiful, peaceful and comfortable place to stay. Was absolutely gorgeous. Service, food, Cleanliness and company was nothing short of amazing. Can’t wait to go back.
