Leavenworth Village Inn

This motel is bad at communication. After I made my reservation on Expedia, I needed to reach the motel to make sure we had booked a first floor room - like the photo showed. The motel wouldn't answer their phone after multiple tries over multiple days, had no answering machine and didn't list an email address. I had to send them an email through Expedia requesting a first floor room. Upon arrival, we learned the motel had given us a second floor room and insinuated that Expedia never sent them my email. With the realization that the situation wouldn't work for us, we asked for a refund. The clerk told us she could only reach her boss through email and that it could take awhile to okay that. So they left my elderly, disabled sister waiting in a hot parking lot for 2 hours & 50 minutes to tell us they wouldn't give us a refund unless someone else rented the room that night. By then it was nearly 7:00 pm. We ended up paying them $260/night for a 1st floor room with only one bed. :-(

Old school property.Nice room,nice talkative employees.

3 flights of stairs. Very small room for a suite. No kitchen or living area. Way too overpriced. Loud air conditioning. Uncomfortable, unpleasant. Check-in was also unpleasant as the person at the front was arguing with her daughter and granddaughter on the phone.

Location is wonderful ! only one or two minutes walk to Front St. where the most(if not all) of store and restaurant located on. you can simply park your car at the hotel（it's free!） and walk to the street. Heartfelt warmth ! the staff at the reception desk is very welcome, friendly and helpful. my only regret is we forgot to leave the tips when we check out, and I really wish I can make it up in some way...do you have PayPal account or something similar so I can send the gratitude ? thank you so much

No elevator in this hotel. Make sure travel light and no large luggage with you. the parking space not always enough, you may have to park in front of the hotel office ,and the front desk was not 24 hours open.

For over $400 I would have expected to be able to get ice for our room.
