"Bestes Frühstück in ganz Thailand, ungewöhnliche Lage und tolle Betreiber"

Hier fühlt man sich wie ein Teil der Familie. Es ist ein familiengeführtes Homestay, man bekommt (zumindest in der Nebensaison) eine kostenlose Fahrt zum Night Market und zum Aussichtspunkt und allerlei tolle Tipps, was man wo essen und machen sollte. Einfach genial. Auf Wunsch wird jeden Tag das Zimmer sauber gemacht und man bekommt auch zwei Flaschen Wasser pro Tag. Man kann sich selbst Kaffee machen, Bücher ausleihen, einen Roller oder Fahrräder mieten und sehr günstig zum Local-Preis typisch thailändisches Essen bestellen! Wenn man auf die andere Flussseite möchte gibt es leider keine Brücke, aber für 10 THB pro Person ruft sie ein „Wassertaxi“ für einen, das einen rüber bringt. Und zu guter letzt gibt es hier das beste Frühstück in ganz Thailand: Selbst gemachter Joghurt, selbst gemachtes (nach deutschem Rezept!!) Brot und selbst gemachte Marmelade zusammen mit Ei und leckeren Früchten. Wir haben es geliebt!

Die Lage ist sehr versteckt und direkt am viel befahrenen Fluss, was abends romantisch, aber nachts aufgrund der lauten Motoren-Geräusche auch mal nervig sein kann. Das muss man einfach wissen. Zudem war unsere Klimaanlage etwas lauter.

"Beautiful fishing village to watch boats go by"

Amazing location in an under visited fishing village. The hosts were incredible, taking me and the other guests to local markets to try local foods and support small businesses. Despite it's location, there were few mosquitoes. Good A/C

The initial walk to the homestay was a bit jarring, this village is built on stilts over the river, meaning that during low tide there is a strong smell from the ground, coupled with a string odor of dried fish/shrimp due to the local business of cleaning/processing seafood. You get used to it after a couple hours, but if you are very sensitive to smells, just be warned :)

"A cute homestay in a cute village with an amazing host"

This was our favourite accomodation on this trip. The host is wonderful and brought us all to the night market in Chumphon for free (in the back of their pick-up truck). We had an early boat to Koh Tao and the host was very kind in bringing us there at 06am including some breakfast. Recommend staying here longer though! The town is great and a treat to walk around, can only be reached by taxi from Chumphon and then follow the route description.

The rooms might be small but they're clean, comfortable and have AC
