Rose and Crown at Redmarley

The Rose and Crown is a nice country pub, which has great staff who are helpful and friendly. The property is an old, but has real character, Breakfast is very nice,generous and the coffee excellent. We didn't get chance to eat at the pub but it seems to have a good menu and bar.

The only criticism I would make is the mattress needs to be replaced as it was not very comfortable. A couple of other very minor issues were brought to the attention of the staff and resolved immediately.

Great staff - very helpful. One of the two rooms we booked was great. Generous cooked breakfast.

One of our two rooms needed a bit of improvement. The en suite was outside the bedroom.

Breafast was lovely

the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The place was quite old with low ceilings but everything was kept clean.

we were right next to the shared bathroom so regularly heard people using the facilities and it woke me up a few times during the night.

The pub and grounds have been refurbished to a high standard. Lovely landlady. Great batter on the haddock.

Sadly our room (4) smelt very damp and was poorly ventilated. Very noisy next to a smoking area.
