The location was great. Takeaways around the corner 2min walk if that. Supermarket & pools 5min walk. Whakatane township 9 min walk. Everything was in walking range. Beds in the rooms were very comfortable to sleep on. We enjoyed our stay.

The extra pull out bed was not suitable. Was very hard to maneuver it was outdated like it was from the 1900s. Very hard & uncomfortable.Cuboards & wardrobes were a tad hard to open n close. Just minor things. I think that comes with an old unit. Communication with the owner was superb 👌A+

How close to town it was, Facilities were great,

Beds were a little uncomfortable with springs pinging when you moved around. The decor is a little tired with a few of the tables by the bed and the one in the lounge being unstable. Maybe needs a bit more cleaning required in the bathroom. The shower curtain is moldy at the bottom.
