China Creek Cottages

Loved the quiet location with beautiful pine trees surrounding the cabin. The cabin was very comfortable and yet gave a touch of country life.

There was no one in the office. Had to call for checking in. Missed that personal touch.

Clean, quiet, comfortable room, pleasant staff, would definitely stay again!

It was very clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable! It was convenient for a stopping point between Lassen and The Redwoods. The staff was very communicative and welcoming.

The cabin was beatiful. The bed was wonderful. Everything I needed was there. Even Ice in the freezer. BUT I can only give 3 stars because the door frame came off of the front door when I checked the security lock. I was traveling solo. I ended up pushing the kitchen table in front of the door to feel safe. Also, this property is very isolated with no one in the lobby. It was too far away from anywhere. Took about 90 mins to get back to Arcata to hike in the Redwoods. I did get a kick out of the Bigfoot Museum though.

Great place. Facilities were good. We couldn’t see around much since we got in pretty late and left early. No complaints though. The shower was huge and nice.

Very hard, uncomfortable bed. Tossed and turned throughout each night. Even tried flipping it. Mattress needs replacement. Or maybe a thick foam topper.
