Tranquilseas Eco Lodge & Dive Center

Very nice room with an amazing room, comfortable with all the necessary equipment. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the diving team was amazing too. Great restaurant, we had all our meals there during our 3 nights stay. We’ll come back if we come to Roatan!

Missing a few outdoor lounge chairs on the beach

Everything was amazing. From the property to the dive shop to the restaurant, everything and everyone is genuinely invested in you having a great vacation. The location is also great, just outside the busy and somewhat cramped West End, Tranquilseas in Sandy Bay gives you room to stretch out and relax.

not a great beach

We spent six nights at Tranquilseas in the King Crab room, which is very spacious and has a great view that is beat only by the two rooms the floor above. The service all around was fantastic, including Eli in reception, Corey the dive instructor, and all the restaurant staff, particularly Miguel, Harry and Bryan who waited on us the most. The rooms have been recently renovated and are beautiful. The WiFi was reliable. We loved that there is clean drinking water dispensers provided in the rooms. The covered pier is a wonderful place to relax, get a massage or do a yoga practice in the absence of a wide sandy beach.

The only thing missing was more soft areas to lounge. I wish our room and the pier had full size hammocks and bean bags or cushions.

Just book this place - seriously. The staff is some of the most caring, and exceptional people. Honestly, it felt like we had family by our side. Everyone knew us by name and were so attentive. We traveled with our 8 mo old daughter. When she got ill with a chest infection Jordan and Eli were lifesavers! They truly cared about our situation and were so helpful in arranging a doctor to come to us and help us obtain the medication our daughter needed. They checked in often and made us feel like we had the support of family by our side during a stressful time. They both truly went above and beyond to take care of us. We will never forget such hospitality and friendliness. Whenever we had questions, wanted to plan something (or change our plans unexpectedly) both Jordan and Eli were more than happy to help us out. Our plan was to dive and relax - which despite the illness hiccup, we did get to do. The dive team and shop are some of the best I've ever encountered. No detail was left unattended. We felt safe and secure and had a lot of fun. The rental gear is brand new and well cared for. We saw so much and really appreciated Abner, Violet, and Cory's attention to detail. It felt like we were diving with good friends. The facilities were incredible. Our room (King Crab) was newly renovated, spotless, and the perfect place for our little family to hang out. We swam and snorkeled off of the dock. The area was very baby-friendly - our daughter loved splashing around and hanging out on the covered dock, going for walks along the beach, and playing in the sand. The waitstaff at the restaurant were so friendly and knew us all by name by day one. We will 100% be back for another visit!

They made everything very easy as far as diving and just being at the resort. It was so nice to walk right downstairs to the boat and the facilities were set up very well. All of the gear they had was brand new, such a nice place. Everyone from the dive shop and the hotel were amazing, helpfull and so friendly. You can absolutely tell that have put alot of effort into it. And the rooms were super nice and left spotless everyday. I cant recommend this place enough!

I actually can't think of anything bad to put here, it was an amazing place.

Breakfast choices were excellent and the same as guests who paid for breakfast. The staff is SUPER, no exceptions. lunch and dinner are also delicious and the grounds and accommodations are peaceful, clean and relaxing.

There was nothing we didn't like but they are doing some renovations to update and upgrade wooden construction like stairs, etc.. Can't wait to return and enjoy this beautiful lodge with the new carpentry completed.

I can’t sing praises loud enough for Tranquilseas! The entire staff (Jordan, Eliska, Gretchen, Brian, Harry, Cory, just to name a few…) were absolutely wonderful and made us feel right at home! And our room literally took our breath away when we walked in for the first time! The property itself has a rustic jungle vibe, but the rooms are newly renovated and gorgeous inside with amazing sea views. I’ll be sending any friends I can to Tranquilseas. Truly can’t say enough good things!

No complaints! Just a heads up that Tranquilseas is an accurate description and the rooms don’t have TVs, so you’ll have to entertain yourself in other ways!
