Great extras Fridge and fan in room

We were welcomed into the Inn and a polite and friendly young girl took us to our room. The room was clean and cosy and we were very happy to find we had a fridge in our wardrobe which is unusual. The bed was firm but very comfortable and had a large walk in shower. The only negative was that although the large overhead shower worked well, but as I didn't want to get my hair wet I had to use the smaller shower head which didn't work very well. The breakfasts and evening meals were all excellent.

We stayed here as a couple and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Our room had clearly been newly refurbished – stylish, spotless, and thoughtfully finished. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, giving us a great night’s sleep, and the modern bathroom featured a large walk-in shower with excellent water pressure. A lovely touch was finding fresh milk in the fridge for tea and coffee, which made it feel more homely than the usual hotel experience. The accommodation is part of a charming village pub that’s full of character, yet peaceful and welcoming. Breakfast in the morning was a highlight – freshly cooked to order with quality ingredients and generous portions. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. Another bonus is the location – just a short drive from the Edward Elgar Birthplace Museum, which made a perfect outing for us. This place really struck the right balance of comfort, style, and warm hospitality. We’d happily return and would recommend it to anyone looking for a restful break in a lovely part of the countryside.

If you’re wanting the English Pub/Inn experience coupled with an awesome beer garden, friendly, knowledgeable staff and access to incredible food & bar service this location is for you. Perfect driving distance to all the Cotswolds have to offer this stay was a standout for us.

Stayed for 2 nights. We are both vegan and informed before we arrived. Lovely touches such as soya milk in the fridge and replenished each day. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff & spacious ensuite room, excellent value.
