VMG Living ( previously Rhinos 5)- Beware! The hotels.com pictures give the impression of three bedrooms with pictures of three double rooms. However there are only two. The pictures do not reflect the cleanliness and the decor of the place AT ALL The booking fee does not show a £75 cleaning charge ( this is hidden in the small print). I would love to know who the £75 cleaner i as the place is FILTHY. Stained carpets, stained sofas, kitchen hob filthy and the cooker hood is caked in grease. All the utensils are just piled by the sink not in a drawer. There were no tea towels so we had to use old pillowcases to dry. The washing machine had a mouldy towel in it. Give me £75 and I'll clean it! On to the bedrooms: Luckily we had some sleeping bags in our car to lie on top of the mattresses as you can actually see the spring coil pattern through the mattress cover and sheet! Uncomfortable does not do it justice. Only one wardrobe had a working rail to hang clothes on and none of them had working handles to open them with. The en suite bathroom fan does not work, so steam and smells linger... The shower doors have to be closed with both hands or the come off the rails.There was only one toilet roll for two bathrooms. On the outside there was vomit on the steps leading up to the flat and on the pavement a used condom! I did e mail them with a draft of this review and asked them to make a sensible offer. I wasn't even asking for a full refund.No reply.Thus you are reading

The organisation was appalling. The person in charge was very unhelpful. Not enough bedding for people requested. Had to give £100 cash deposit, on check out told I would get it back as bank transfer - not acceptable. Extremely hard to get hold of them. Hard to find, reluctantly gave door number out after driving around for 30 minutes to find it. No hot water even though boiler was on and working, had to have a cold shower. When bedding did arrive for the sofa bed there was no bed sheet, so leather sofa was cold. Better conditions in a prison cell.
