Staff was good. The front desk clerk Rochelle was excellent.

Attention to detail in the room by housekeeping was problematic. There was no shampoo or conditioner, or tissues. We stayed for two nights, and housekeeping never visited. To restock. We had to go to the front desk for supplies. The mattresses were uncomfortable as were the pillows, and both should be replaced. Climate control in the room ranged all night from either very warm to very cold and did not keep the room a steady temperature.

Very clean. Water fountain in lobby drained slow but was spotless. Cleaning is for sure important at this place. Breakfast was great!

Tub had some pealing to it. Acceptable but getting close to needing refreshed.

Inside the Building was much nicer than the Photos of property you could do a better job of the presentation in the add. I was also surprised how much closer to downtown we were than what I expected.

We have been coming to Pittsburgh for a Steeler game once a year for many years. We have explored different areas. Having been to this property a few years back we decided to stay again. Unfortunately it has gone downhill. Our room was not cleaned properly. On arrival we found a wet used towel hanging behind the bathroom door. The bathroom was maybe hastily cleaned and it showed. There was also debris on the obviously not vacuumed carpet. Upon complaining to the front desk we were told nothing could be done because at 5PM the person manning the front desk was the only employee there. It did not get better the next day when we were told our room would be cleaned and basically the bed was made and we were given clean towels - no cleaning occurred. This is not what we thought to expect from Hilton or the Hampton Brand. The one positive was that the breakfast was good and the woman who ran it kept the area clean and well stocked and was pleasant, friendly and helpful as was the morning front desk person.
