Beautiful hotel. Great service. Bad points are.. WiFi is poor and due to location I had no phone signal at all. Restaurant is expensive.

we liked the age and the character of the property and the new editions were sympathetically done. The setting with the view of the downs was marvellous

Nice location. Parking easy. Comfortable bed. Did Not Like - Instructions for coffee machine not clear so had to get a kettle from reception. TV aerial had to be plugged in as had been removed. Shower floor was very slippery. I ended up with a bad cut on my toe. Needs a mat as an option. Check out time different from Expedia advert.
