Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Washington Downtown

No breakfast

The parking I was told 50 dollars . But paid 85 .

It was clean. Its cost for the location was great.

The breakfast area was too crowded.

We enjoyed the breakfast, and the location in relation to the multiple landmarks in the area were within walking distance, which was very convenient.

The room was small (2 queen beds, 2 adults and 2 kids), but we made it work. We travel often and this room was physically smaller than many we have been to. The beds were very soft, and my kids commented that they felt "lumpy". The air conditioning was also very loud, the blower itself was loud but it would also kick up a notch when cooling and startle us when we were trying to fall asleep. And although this was not a problem due to the hotel itself, our neighbor was so unbelievably loud at night...between 11 and 1 both nights we stayed that initially it sounded like she was outside our door in the hall. However, the loud AC did help to drown her out a bit (again we made the best of it). I just couldn't believe how we could hear her conversations so clearly!

The front desk staff was very hospitable and accommodating.
