the garden, the room, the restaurant and the food.. oh so good!!!!

This hotel and restaurant is a beautiful spot in a quaint small town. The courtyard is a peaceful oasis. The rooms and restaurant are decorated with a unique art style. The service and facilities were all up to par.

Can’t think of anything!

It is unique and clearly a labor of love. Art everywhere, superb restaurant, and the three owners are very hands on and friendly. Marta is a first-class chef offering gourmet meals at very reasonable prices. Their wine list is unbelievable, including a huge selection of French wines and champagnes at remarkably low prices. The hotel is in a non-descript town but close to the lovely town of Spilimbergo and to Maniago with its very interesting knife museum.

That we couldn’t dine there two nights in a row. Seriously, we had no complaints at all.

For breakfast we were spoiled with homemade bread and cake; the room had a good temperature (in august) even without using the ac; the atmosphere was always relaxing, inside in the restaurant area and outside in the wonderful garden; the food served in the restaurant is delicious!

There were lots of mosquitoes in the garden (we travelled to different places in Italy this august and the mosquitos were everywhere); since we were equipped with mosquito repellent spray and bite-away device, we still enjoyed our time in the garden a lot!

Very nice place, interiors are beautifully decorated and they create a nice atmosphere. the garden is also well maintained . The owner was very kind and found an ideal combination for our family. Hotel is also pet friendly
