"Better than a "Homestay" - in every way!"

Far from being a "homestay," Treebo Umal offers facilities and services that would put some 3-star rated hotels to shame! The rooms here are exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. With five rooms on each of two floors, each floor has a comfortable lounge and dining area. Service in this facility is always with a smile, and the personnel here will go out of their way to cater to your requests.

A little maintenance here would really go a long way in boosting the rating of this property. In my room, the fan regulator was defective - working either at full speed, or not at all! The wash basin was cracked - more of an eyesore than anything else. The breakfast menu is fixed as per the day of the week. So, Aloo Paratha with curd is what you will get on Wednesdays - whether you like it or not! 😉 The property is located about 20km from the airport, and with the haphazard traffic of Guwahati, it may take more than an hour to reach there. But overall, my one-night stay was comfortable.
