USThis property is the best! Our stay was delightful from start to finish. Our host: Gayle is polite and helpful but not too intrusive. We had peaceful nights by the fire on the wooden swing making s’mores and days on the lake, with the ability to grab groceries from the market close by, and pizza in town to eat back at the cabin. All with our dog! Couldn’t have asked for a lovelier Labor Day!
Had kind of a smell. Would change your detergent. Very dated and could use a deep cleaning.

FRGreat location to explore RMNP. We rent a two bedroom cabin. The cabin is specious enough. The place is a little time worn but has everything you need, it's clean and the beds are comfortable. There is a mountain market (a super market) just next to the palace. The main street and the lake are not very far away. You can go there by feet.
Columbine Cabins is a wonderful retreat for my husband and I. 6 years ago, we happened upon it and fell in love with the quaintness and simplicity of it. The bathroom is small, but having a large living space and kitchen makes up for it. It includes all the comforts of home. It is close to downtown, so it's a quick drive or even walk. Gayle is amazing! I had a special request to surprise my husband with for our anniversary and she went above and beyond. The hospitality and personal touch are like nothing I've ever seen. We can't wait to go back again!

Cabin smelt of stale dog. Stains on the furniture, dirty and broken light pull in bathroom, kitchen cabinets didn’t shut properly and stains on the ceilings. Cabin in need of serious updating. Location was good but just very tired accommodation.

The fact of having to climb about 22 stairs to get to the room. Mother has a walker and no where on the website did it say stairs involved. Indoors smelled like dogs. Needs some updating. Wish checkout was not 10:30 a.m. Location was okay. Didn't like what the property was next to (broken down housing).
