Mossbrae Hotel

The room was nice and clean.

No breakfast and basic coffee at lobby was not proper. Also it’s in Dunsmuir - a dead beat town.

Sweet little hotel in center of small town. Nicely decorated

We were in room 4 and the metal bed frame was not attached to the wall or the bed very well so every time we moved or rolled over be bed squeaked the whole night so we didn’t get any rest and were tired the next day for my godsons graduation. I sent a text to management since there is none on premises and got a sorry , we’ll follow up but nothing after that. I travel through this area frequently which I mentioned and was surprised to hear nothing more. Sad because I would like to stay here again if the bed situation were rectified the bed is the most important in a hotel room.. disappointing customer service .

Very clean room, quiet, beautiful setting in the back. Close to downtown walking distance to eateries and stores.

The only surprise was lack of elevator. I only had three bags to carry, could be worse! The room and hotel in general is immaculate. I especially loved the huge bathroom. Quiet and comfortable. A nice eatery across the street. Easy walk to the train station.

I loved the decor, the hominess, and the welcome mocktail I received when I arrived. My hotel room had a wall of windows that actually opened to let in fresh air. I loved the vintage feel

It was very comfortable and spacious. The hotel is decorated beautifully. Entry and exit was a snap. Probably I will return one of these days.

Communication with the owners could have been better. I sent two messages asking about a late checkout, once when I first made the reservation, and the next a day before my start date, and they never responded.

The interior has been tastefully renovated and the room and bathroom was well appointed and comfortable. Unfortunately, the town of Dunsmuir has seen better days and we were a little uneasy with parking our car on the street overnight.
