The scenery of the property was great and the staff in the breakfast room were amazing

The basic facilities were not available - for about 36 hours of our stay there we did not have hot water or heating.

What was good: • The staff were genuinely kind and professional. • The territory is beautiful, with truly fresh air and great views. • The cottage interior design is nice. • The hotel is pet-friendly, which we appreciated.

We chose Bioli expecting rest, fresh air, and comfort – especially considering the positioning of the hotel as a wellness retreat)Unfortunately, the reality was very disappointing. The biggest issue was the mattress in the cottage. It was absolutely unacceptable for a hotel of this level. The mattress was old, extremely uncomfortable, squeaky, and you could literally feel the springs inside. Sleeping on it was impossible. We ended up sleeping in the armchair because the bed was unbearable. In the hospitality business, mattresses are not optional decor – they are the core of the guest experience. They must be replaced regularly. These urgently need to be changed. The TV was very outdated and the remote control didn’t work properly. Small detail, but again – at this price point, this should not happen. The minibar contained a small bottle of Hennessy priced at 75 GEL, maybe it was expired, because after drinking (I took literally three sips) it, I got severe food poisoning and was sick for two days. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about quality control and guest safety. The billiard lounge also needs attention. The cue was in embarrassing condition and clearly should have been replaced a long time ago. These are not expensive updates, especially for a hotel charging premium rates. However, the overall experience does not justify the price at all. There is no sense of customer loyalty. I was celebrating my birthday, and unlike many hotels that offer even a small gesture (a card, a dessert with a candle, a small compliment), nothing was offered. I had to order dessert myself and ask for a candle. Bioli promotes itself as a place for rest and recovery, but without basic comfort (a proper mattress, safe minibar items, functioning equipment), that promise simply doesn’t hold. At this price level, guests expect quality maintenance and attention to detail.

The rooms were very aesthetically pleasing and the grounds were beautiful. Food was very delicious

I really don’t know where to start, this was the part of the trip I was most looking forward to and was the biggest let down. Firstly, breakfast doesn’t start until 10am which is very late, all communication with reception is done via WhatsApp during your stay which isn’t very effective and needs major improvement, it’s near impossible to get a taxi to the location on short notice, availability for procedures is limited which was disappointing, also we had a big issue with our room temperature. You have to contact admin to have it down. My room was consistently too hot which made for a very unpleasant nights sleep and my friends was always too cold despite contracting admin on numerous different occasions. Speed of service in restaurant could also be improved
