"Beautiful place with great hosts"

10.0

Our hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming . The beds were very comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was plentiful. Lovely location with 2 great pubs within a few yards of the properry. Cannot recommend highly enough. We'll be back next time we're down this way 😁😁

"Nice Stay with Pleasant Hosts"

Excellent B&B doing exactly what a B&B should. Enjoyed the Continental breakfast and had a good nights sleep. Really nice hosts.

"Exceptional"

We had a lovely few days here - Myrtle Cottage was a brilliant base for exploring the Gower and with two pubs close by we ate very well each evening (as well as in the morning).

"Excellent little B&B in a great location"

10.0

Well positioned little B&B with easy access to the Mumbles. Lively pub a couple of doors down but everyone went inside at 10:30 so no issue with the noise and a good place to get a drink and food. Couple who owned the place were lovely and even helped me out when I made an error in my original booking. The room was very comfortable, probably the best I slept on the trip and the breakfast looked excellent (I don't eat breakfast but it smelt good!). The only comment I'd make is that it is a shared bathroom for some of the rooms but it was clearly cleaned regularly and the whole place was great to stay in.

"Excellent"

Lovely hosts and a comfortable stay. The breakfast was excellent and the hosts went out of their way to accommodate us. The shared bathroom could use an update and can get quite busy at peak times when the B&B is fully booked. The access road for parking is unmade (i.e. some large holes), but there are two good quality pubs located only a stone's throw away which is very convenient. The Wifi upstairs did not work for us as we could not find the network due to the very weak signal.

"Classic B&B with lovely hosts, and good facilities"

10.0

This is a lovely classic B&B situated in a beautiful location. The hosts are hospitable, and will go out of the way to help you anyway they can. Located next to 2 pubs, there isn't a shortage of beer or food. There is also a local store within minutes walk. Parking was easy, and beaches are found a short drive away. Facilities are shared, but they were clean and well maintained. The Wi-Fi was quick, and allowed for video calling without issue. The nights rest was peaceful, though a small amount of noise can be heard from the nearby drinking establishments. Breakfast was well presented, and beautifully cooked. I'd certainly recommend that you stay here, you won't be disappointed.

"Nice and cosy b&b"

10.0

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay at Myrtle Cottage. The hosts were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast is excellent with lots of choice and the fried breakfast sets you up for the day. We stayed in the double room with the en-suite, it was very spacious and the bed was very comfy. We will definitely be staying again.
