"All in all, we had a wonderful stay in a beautifully styled, clean hotel with lovely staff."

We both had an amazing English breakfast, served in a really lovely breakfast area by wonderful staff. We absolutely loved the extra touch of finding a piece of cake and some mead waiting for us in our room. It was delicious! I’d never tried mead before but had always wanted to, so it was a brilliant bonus.

The door to the room was incredibly thin and felt quite weak, which compromised our sense of security. Fortunately, the hotel was empty the night we stayed, so noise wasn't an issue, but a sturdier, thicker door would have made us feel much safer and more comfortable.
