Ausgezeichneter Aufenthalt – sehr empfehlenswert! Das Sipanya Guesthouse ist ein wunderbarer Ort zum Übernachten. Alles war sehr sauber, gemütlich und bestens ausgestattet – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Es gab jederzeit genügend warmes Wasser zum Duschen, und dank der guten Lüftung war das Badezimmer schnell wieder trocken. Ein grosser Pluspunkt: Die Klimaanlage kann auch zum Heizen genutzt werden, was im Winter sehr praktisch ist, da die Nachttemperaturen unter 10 Grad fallen können. Wir haben drei Nächte hier verbracht und uns rundum wohlgefühlt – fast wie zuhause. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Notre guide Souk, a fait un excellent travail, nous a fait découvrir l'histoire de la région avec des anecdotes personnelles émouvantes, et à été aux petits soins avec nous. Supernetter Gastgeber. Wurden kostenlos von der Bushaltestelle abgeholt und mit einem Lächeln empfangen. Zimmer war groß und sauber. Ausflüge können Vorort gebucht werden. Hatten einen sehr guten, informativen Guide bei der Tour. Der Gastgeber kümmert sich um alles. Unser Bus ist aufgrund eines Defekts bei der Vortour ausgefallen und er hat uns sehr schnell alternativen aufgezeigt. Wir können die Unterkunft guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen und wären auch noch gerne länger geblieben. Liegt ruhig, nur ein paar Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt. Man wird auf Wunsch abends auch zum Essen gefahren.

In der Nacht etwas kalt im Zimmer Es werden aber auf Wunsch zusätzliche Decken gestellt.

The guest house is not luxurious, but it is immaculate, comfortable, and clean. It offers everything one needs for a stay in Phonsavan. My reason for visiting Phonsavan was to see the Plain of Jars, and I could not have done so in the same way without Abay. He is the best host one could hope for, and together with his brother, Mr. Suy, they made the visit truly unforgettable. It is important to keep in mind where Phonsavan is, its economic reality, and its cultural richness. Within this context, Sipanaya Guest House surpasses all the so-called hotels in town. I did not have breakfast at the guest house because I visited the market early each morning and ate there. The market is well worth seeing: it reminds us of the value of food, freshness, order, and community. Thank you, Abay, for organising such a wonderful stay and for making my visit to the Plain of Jars so memorable.

I liked everything.

Quiet, very convenient location. Abay was a very helpful, friendly and welcoming host who arranged two excellent guided tours for us to make the most of our 1.5 day visit to Phonsovan. Although Abay was away at the time of our stay, he was very responsive by email in helping to arrange everything. Upstairs room was spacious and comfortable with nice views towards mountains at the end of the building. Very nice breakfast in adjoining dining room building.

Hot water system was a bit temperamental but we managed ok.

This property has gone well over our expectations. The place is clean, the rooms are very spacious, people are courtesy and kind. The owner speaks a very good English. They serve a tasty cooked breakfast which varies from Lao dishes to the most continental. The main street is just few minutes walking distance

Le personnel surtout le jeune homme qui travaillait de nuit était adorable. Je souhaite le remercier d’avoir essayer de trouver des solutions à mes problèmes.

Ma chambre n’a jamais été nettoyée pendant toute la durée de mon séjour. Il y avait des insectes dans la chambre et j’ai même retrouvé des animaux dans mon lit, ce qui a rendu les nuits très désagréables. Concernant le paiement, on vous annonce que la carte est acceptée, mais la machine ne fonctionne pas. J’ai donc dû retirer de l’argent plusieurs fois, avec tous les frais à ma charge. C’est vraiment dommage, car le personnel est gentil, mais l’expérience globale n’a pas été satisfaisante. Je ne recommande pas cet établissement.
