Days Inn by Wyndham Osage Beach Lake of the Ozarks

Easy to find, hotel was very clean even for being a bit older.

When we arrived there was only 1 single staff member, and it took them almost 10 minutes before they even returned to the front desk. It was hard to understand him, and he seemed rather annoyed he actually had to do his job. Later that night we found the bed was horribly uncomfortable. Neither of us really slept. When we went to check out the next morning the staff member for that day was also annoyed with us because apparently we were supposed to just throw our key cards in the bin and just leave but nobody told us that.... so.

Clean room. Non-smoking. Quiet. Breakfast basics with eggs, sausage, B&G, but above average. Not suited for kids and entertainment.

Management was not on duty or anyone to check in waited 40 minutes mgr finally showed up.

Proximity to where we planned on spending most of our time.

Where to start - only 1 staff member I saw the whole time. No one is there after hours. Our room had a mold/mildew smell to it. Dead roach in the bathroom. Scuffs on the wall. Left our room morning of the 9th and a guy was smoking weed in the hallway while a staff member was cleaning his room. No elevator. Stairs were filthy. Upkeep outside the hotel isn’t the greatest. They’re growing a garden in the back on the grounds (worried about the upkeep of a garden but not the upkeep of your hotel, weird). Pillows smelled like body odor. Stains on the sheets. Dated sink. Dated bathroom. Toilet isn’t ADA. Toilet paper is cheap and single ply. Wouldn’t allow us to check in until 4, but check out is 11.

The location is good. Lots of restaurants near by. Breakfast was ok.

The place was a little dirty and could use some updating.
