The White Horse Inn

Food and service were excellent. I booked room 5 (large room) barely enough room to move around the bed. No wardrobe, bathroom ok but tired. Worst of all no pillowcases on the bed and by the time irealised the bar was closed 9.30pm)so no one to see

I’m so dissatisfied to hear my partner stay was not up to standard! No cups for a cuppa tea.. no towels to wash..! No option for breakfast due to no chef in but then don’t advertise a breakfast as an added option if it’s not available, just disappointing.. so paying £81 for just a bed is extremely over priced! Needless to say he won’t be returning..

Room smelt of stale cigarettes the bedding had holes and stains and the room was infested with flies, which I believe was an issue in the local area. We asked to change rooms which we could but the room we then got was a tiny twin room not big enough to swing a cat. Thank goodness it was only one night!

We asked for and expected en suite facilities but instead we were given very small overcrowded rooms with the facilities down a hallway. In the evening we found the lights and electricity didn't work in one of the rooms. The staff were helpful but the lack of ensuite rooms should be made clear on the website.

After a disastrous start getting there we couldn’t have been more welcomed, great service and friendly staff, really nice atmosphere and we stayed in the (loft) room, not quite, Good food and drinks. Will certainly be back in the future, to book the attic no. 7.

Great little pub/hotel. Room good value for money. Restaurant food was amazing and staff fantastic. Definitely a little hidden gem.

Lovely building, excellent food and friendly staff. We were surprised that the room for which we had paid £95 was very small, much smaller than the other ones which we saw on the website, yet still the same price, not worth £95. Also pound shop shower gel in the bathroom, little details like this could have given more of a feeling of luxury. Lovely pretty village.

This is very much a b&b experience,very friendly village inn atmosphere.staff were mega pleasant. Only issue was no way of cooling down in the room (no fan or aircon) but overall lovely stay. ❤️
