Sandton Hotel Kasese

Our stay was excellent because of the staff. Very friendly on check-in and whilst we were eating at the restaurant. The wait staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful.

Air Conditioning took some work to get going.

The location is key to my work in Kasese since it is downtown and 2 blocks from our clinic Kasese Community Health and Education Foundation.

They have trouble keeping the bill straight. I paid for my stay the day before I checked out. The receipt included an extra $20 and stated that it was for “accommodations and laundry”. The staff presented another bill for laundry the day I checked out even tho I didn’t get any laundry service the last day. I was told that a mistake was made on the first receipt. That should never happen!!

Location

If you walk to the property without a booking via booking.com, you pay half price. They charge you between 100,000ugx to 150,000ugx! And yet we are meant for save money whenever we use this application. I felt cheated.

I loved the food and the environment at the hotel was so cool and calm what I actually loved the most was the fact that you guys put Bibles in these rooms makes it exceptional. May God bless Sandton for this.

The fact that left over food was left to rot in our rooms for the two days we were there and no cleaning done untill we left was actually so annoying and inconveniencing. We left our clothes in the laundry bags for washing and came back to the hotel only to realise no one actually touched them. kindly improve on the room service otherwise you are gonna lose customers .

The restaurant prepared good food albeit that many of the items on the menu were not available. The staff were friendly and helpful

Only a few items on the menu were actually available. Although they claim to have hot water, it's not the case. The AC unit made a terrible noise. There was no safe parking. We had to park in the street.

Nice staff. Felt safe with 2 armed guards. The environment was OK, some restaurants and banks close to the hotel. Very good coffee and fruit, but the breakfast was more like a lunch buffet We could watch the football games on the hotel TV

Short beds. No bedlamps 4 hooks for clothes but no drawers or cupboards. OK for a nights stay but ot so comfortable for longer visits. No glasses No currency exchange The football games on TV were truncated in a way that remaining time did not show. That was the case at all TVs at the hotel (but not at the sports bar 200 m from the hotel) This reduces the score with 1.5 points.

All over was okey, delay in Early morning breakfast.....

Nothing. They denied me the room I paid for and attempted to put me in another hotel in town without many of the amenities I had booked with them. Refused to give a refund. Refused to put in writing that I was being denied a room. The manager muttered "oh my god" at me when i asked if the place I was being sent had Wifi.
